Individual Session: $147 (GST included) for a 50 minute session

Telephone/Online Counselling: $147 per 50 minute session.

This may be particularly beneficial for you if certain barriers prevent you from accessing face-to-face counselling.

Policies

Missed Appointment and Cancellation: We require 24 hours notice to change or cancel any appointment. Please be advised that missed appointments and those which are cancelled with less than the required 24 hours notice will be charged in full to the client.

Confidentiality: Counsellors are legally and ethically required to keep all information regarding clients confidential. Your privacy is very important to me, and is a vital component in the development of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. During our sessions any information discussed is protected by the law. All discussions and any records kept will not be released without your consent. There are specific limits to the confidentiality agreement, including the following.

Limits of Confidentiality:
If a counsellor receives a court order or subpeona for specific records, they are required by law to provide requested files and documentation.
If a client discloses intent to cause serious harm to themselves, a counsellor must make every effort to reduce risk of harm. If the client will not cooperate, a counsellor may take measures to ensure the clients safety without their permission.
If the client discloses intent to cause serious bodily harm to another individual, a counsellor must notify authorities and the intended victim.
If a counsellor suspects abuse or neglect of child, dependent, or elder, appropriate authorities must be immediately contacted.
